I was recently hired by a busy entrepreneur in Aliso Viejo who wanted to makeover his front yard. His yard was just grass and a palm tree that was planted way to close to the house. He had one request and that was to create a garden that was not only drought tolerant but also pleasing to the eye. This was not going to be a garden that would sit in or heavily used. It just needed to be functional for the environment, low maintenance and also a place for the local beneficial wildlife to come and have a good time.
