As with any garden remember that nothing is set in stone. Gardening is like a science lab. You get to experiment and try different things. Somethings you may like or dislike. Something might work well or not at all. In either case have fun with your garden and if you are patient then you will see results and a beautiful garden to enjoy with your loved ones.

Love your site. There are over 6,000 species of California native plants, not just 600. :)
Arvind you are correct. Error on my part. But I do believe that there are 600 varieties that are native to Orange County. There are just so many. How does one keep track of them all?
Love this! I have played several natives in my yard including romnyea coulteri, which I am especially proud of because I got it to take (after three failed attempts). I have rain barrels and a gray water system ( for fruit trees and hedge) a raised bed from cinder block and three vitus vinifera but oh do I so need a designer to help me pull it all together!
I have the front yard all native and will be doing the back. So excited!
@msprompt congrats you are the second prize winner in my contest. Can you please email me your mailing address? rama@creationslandscapedesigns.com Thank you!
@ Arvind Kumar Hi what is your mailing address? You won third place in the contest.
