I was suppose to do a wordless Wednesday post today but decided to do this instead.  Well recently I went to my W. Costa Mesa clients house to check on the progress of his front yard that was installed Dec. of 2011.  Overall the garden is doing well.  Surviving the scorching heat.  There were a few hiccups after the installation but for the most part things are flowing smoothly.  Below is the video of the project.

This particular client was open to the idea of killing his lawn and stepping outside the box.  Not necessarily to stand out but to increase his property value, decrease his energy bills and create a garden for his family to enjoy.  What was once lawn was no longer needed and having CA native strawberry's that his daughter could eat was a much better option.  This amongst other plants created the perfect garden for his family.
