TOP 3 CALIFORNIA NATIVE PLANTS FOR SLOPES

Got slopes?  Sometimes in designing landscapes I deal with slopes that not only need to retained but also need some plants that don't need much water or maintenance.    Not just any plant will work on a slope.  It is also hard to plant on a slope the there is a risk of slipping and falling.  This is why you need to pick plants that will work really well on slopes.  These 3 are perfect.

These 3 plants are:

  • Heteromelese arbutifolia - Toyon
  • Prunus ilicifolia - Holly Leaf Cherry
  • Romneya 'White Cloud' - Matilija Poppy

This continues a series of 10 videos about California native plants.  Each video will feature a situation that is commonly dealt with in residential landscapes.
