TOP 3 CALIFORNIA NATIVE PLANTS FOR SCENT

Imagine if there was a scented Sage planted under a window.  Now imagine if the wind blew some of that awesome smell in early on a Sunday morning.  How soothing would that be?  These plants are great for adding smell in your garden.  They are also good at deterring rabbits and other critters that want to keep out (not 100% but mostly).  Scented plants have also been known to positively alter ones mood.

These 3 plants are:
  • Monardella villosa - Coyote Mint
  • Salvia clevelandii - Cleveland Sage
  • Trichostema lenatum - Woolly Blue Curls

This continues a series of 10 videos about California native plants.  Each video will feature a situation that is commonly dealt with in residential landscapes.
