I like using ground covers to define the edge of a border or to just add some low growing interest in front of a taller plant. Whatever the use, these California native plants get up to 3' high and are a fun way to add interest. In the right picture my client in Costa Mesa had an existing tree that we potted and put a lot of low growing ground covers to add some color punch and interest. Really good choices and a beautiful photo. I love Pigeon Point - in big drifts or in small areas. This is a real favorite for a variety of situations.
Evergreen groundcovers aren't the stars of the garden, but they help keep the green going into the winter months. Fast Growing Tree Nursery
