On April 1st, the Orange County chapter of the California Native Plant Society had it's annual garden tour. In the previous few years due to covid they did not have an in person tour. Finally, they got back to it. There were 16 gardens on tour but I only visited 6. 2 in Irvine, 2 in Lake Forest and 2 in Costa Mesa.
Each garden was uniquely curated to suit the taste of the owner. Some were designed by a landscape designer and installed by a landscape contractor, and some where done as a DIY. Each garden took into account how much sun/shade the plants were going to get. Some even had existing plants that had to be worked around. In this video I give you a tour of the 6 that I went to.
