Usually I have a clear idea of what I want to paint. Whether it's from my imagination or a picture, I have something to go off of. This time I had the image but I was not sure if I wanted to paint it as is or modify it. So not being able to decide, I decided to do two versions. 
This is what I like about art. It does not have to be exact and can be whatever you want it to be. I can make things my own and just go with the flow of my mood in that moment. Art is subjective and does not have to be exact. It can be whatever you want it to be.
